About the Artwork.

The painting above and to the right are done with acrylics.  All the others are watercolor, direct from the tube using 1' - 2' skipper brushes.  Hard bristle and a definite adventure.  Premise is layering color upon color to create rich greys than bringing single color on top of that to add the finishing touches.  My instructor that introduced me to this process, Cal DeRuyter commented that I use 2 hours to create the greys and in the last half hour I add the color.
